2. Can I really park on the grass?
Yes, and we’ve saved a spot for you! We may decide to pave our parking lot in the future. Until then, however, feel free to park in the grassy areas surrounding the church.
3. What kind of attire should I wear?
We are a church of many different people, cultures, and backgrounds. Everything from jeans to jackets and dresses is welcomed. We’re most concerned with ensuring we see you here!
4. What about my kids?
We have a Sunday school class for children ages five to 13, along with children's church that meets during our worship service. Screened volunteers are available to watch over your precious babies from birth to five years in our nursery.
5. How do I become a member?
After prayerful consideration, if you would like to become a member of Bemiss UMC, please see the pastor or call the church office at 229-244-4943 to make an appointment. We would love to have you as part of our church.
6. How often do you offer communion? May I take communion if I’m not a member?
We celebrate communion on the first Sunday of each month and various other times throughout the year. It is open to all people to join us in celebration, regardless of church membership.
